MRS. JESSE CARR

Hammondsport, May 31. Mrs. Jesse Carr, 43, died at her home in North Urbana Tuesday. She had been ill of pneumonia the past two weeks. Carrie May Carr was born at North Reading, N. Y., and was the daughter of the late Nathan and Rosetta Woodward. The family later moved to Bath, where on Jan. 15, 1907, she was united in marriage to Jesse Carr, and moved to the farm at North Urbana. Mrs. Carr was a true Christian woman, a member of the Hammondsport Methodist Episcopal Church and of the Live Wire Sunday School Class. She was also a member of North Urbana Grange.

Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Rosetta Woodward, a son, Lynn of Buffalo, and a daughter, Irene, at home; two brothers, Lester Woodward of Bath and Jay Woodward of Caton. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the Methodist Church in Hammondsport, the Rev. P . F. Asher officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
