Also served as a Member of the Vermont State House of Representatives from 1784 to 1785, 1806 to 1891, and in 1811, Justice of Vermont State Supreme Court from 1790 to 1791, 1796 to 1797, and 1813 to 1815, and Judge of the United States District Court for Vermont in 1791.
