Actress. Born in London, England, she was a Hollywood leading lady in B-movies and a supporting actress in many big budget films. She made her made her screen debut in "The Return of Chandu " (1931) and was best remembered for the role of 'Countess Marya Zaleska' in "Dracula's Daughter" (1936). Her other credits included "The Life of Emile Zola" (1937), "Test Pilot" (1938), "This Thing Called Love" (1940), "Apache Trail" (1942), "Hit the Hay" (1945), "Perilous Waters" (1948), "Dream Wife" (1953) and "The Eddy Duchin Story" (1956).
