Sixty-six year old Raymond D. F. Ruwe was pronounced dead at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital after the Blair Rescue Squad transported him from his farm home Sunday morning, November 18, 1979. Mr. Ruwe reportedly died from a sudden heart attack.

Mr. Ruwe was a prominent farmer that lived northwest of Blair in the Rose Hill School District. Service for Mr. Ruwe will be on Tuesday, November, 20, 1979 at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Borchers officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ruwe was born in Blair, Nebraska on May 15, 1913. He was married to the former Opal Kuhr and they lived on route one, Blair.

He is survived by his wife Opal, five children, 13 grandchildren and two sisters. Sisters are: Mrs. Milo (Velma) Jeppesen, Blair and Dorothy Ruwe, Blair.

Pallbearers are Otto Matzen, George Lund, Robert Arnold, George Isham, Earl Hoier and Arthur S. Jensen.
