Early in life Mrs. Sackett professed faith in Christ as her Saviqr and united with the Baptist church. Twenty-one years ago she united with the Methodist church in Haigler and always took an active interest in the work of the church in this community. For many years she taught the young women's bible class in the Sunday School, and there are many who are mothers today who received from her lips and life the teachings of Word during the formative years of their young womanhood. She leaves a wide circle of friends who mourn her passing.
The funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Thursday of last week, conducted by the pastor who was assisted by Olin Wood, who preached the sermon in compliance with a request made by Mrs. Sackett some years ago. Burial was in the Haigler cemetery.
