Mrs. ANNA ABBOTT
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna C. Abbott, 82, who died Sunday evening in East Dorset, will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in East Dorset Congregational Church. The Rev. Lester Tufts, pastor, will officiate.
Mrs. Abbott was born Nov 16, 1888 in East Dorset, daughter of George and Cora (Sexton) Copping. She graduated from Burr & Burton Seminary in Manchester and Bliss Business College in North Adams, Mass. She taught at Bliss Business College for several years. She also taught the first four grades at the East Dorset School for many years.
She was a member of the East Dorset Congregational Church and its ladies auxiliary. She was also Sunday school superintendent for many years. Active in the PTA in East Dorset, she was a member of Adoniram chapter 22, Order of Eastern Star in Manchester.
She is survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Brewster Funeral Home in Manchester Center today from 7 to 9 pm.


Anna (Copping) Abbott and Leo James Abbott had another daughter Virginia Abbott who was born in 1918 - she is not listed in her mothers' obituary and I haven't been able to find any information on her.
