Leila Throndson Dies at Age 74

Mrs. Leila Throndson, 74, of 1838 S. Estelle, a resident of Wichita two years, died Saturday in a local nursing home.

She was born June 29, 1887, in Knoxville, Tenn. A resident of Santa Anna, Calif. for many years, she came to Wichita in 1960.

Survivors include four sons, Paul. 1838 N. Estelle, Lynn, 522 Whittier. James, 2205 S. Emporia, and Sigurd, Gerard, Kan.; and seven grandchildren.

DeVorss-Gard Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Funeral service for Mrs. Lelia May Throndson, 74, of 1838 S. Estelle, who died Saturday evening, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at DeVorss-Gard Mortuary.

The Rev. Dr. Basil L. Johnson, pastor of East Heights Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
