Mrs. Mayo, the former Tena Schmidt, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt, Carroll pioneers. She was reared in Carroll, where she attended high school. She had lived in Los Angeles a long time, having moved there from Seattle, Wash.
Surviving are two sons, Donald A. and Stanley Mayo, and one sister, Mrs. Florence Kispert, all of Los Angeles.
