HARRY HOLT DEAD;
Friends and relatives here were greatly grieved to learn of the sudden death of Harry Holt.
Mr. Holt with his wife and sister, Miss Maxie Holt, had spent the day with his father, J.W. Holt, who is quite ill and was returning to their home in St. Louis, when Mr. Holt drove to the side of the pavement near Montgomery City and said he was feeling bad. He died in a few seconds.
Funeral services were held in St. Louis Wednesday.
He was the son of James W. Holt and the late Mary (Foster) Holt. He was born about five miles southwest of New Bloomfield, where he made his home until early manhood.
Besides his father and wife he is survived by the following brothers and sisters. Mrs. Elbert Blyth of New Bloomfield, Mrs. Charles Kleine, Mrs. Roy Meyers and Miss Marie Holt of St. Louis, William Holt of Neosho and Archie Holt of Iowa and a host of other relatives.
Paul Holt, a twin brother, preceeded him in death a few years ago.
He was a member of Hopewell Babtist Church.

Harry G. Holt, 44 years, 4 months and 14 days old, of St. Louis, died at 7:15pm on November 14, 1943 two miles east of Danville.
F.T. Ball, Justice of the Peace and coroner of Jonesburg, Missouri, pronounced death caused by a Coronary Thrombosis while driving his car on Highway 40 in Montgomery City. The informant was Maxine Holt of 2357 Tennessee Street, St. Louis.
Mr. Holt was born August 1, 1899, in New Bloomfield, the son of James W. and Mary Jane (Foster) Holt, both born in New Bloomfield. He was united in marriage to Elsie ? and she survives him. Mr. Holt was a machine worker.
