Mrs. Mirah Chenoweth of Little Point departed this life on the 24th of July and was buried at Walters Cemetery the following day.

Rev. Whitlow preached her funeral sermon at the Christian Church. She was the mother of Stephen Chenoweth of this place and was a very aged lady.
