Daughter of the late Steven Edward and Iola Golden Purifoy, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Edward Purifoy, Jr. She was survived by her husband of 53 years, George Kittrell; daughters, Juanita Kittrell and Teresa Freeman (Lennie)l granddaughter, Audrey L. Filipcic; great-granddaughter, Kayla L. Filipcic; sisters, Wanda P. Willis, Shirley P. Dennin (Jerry) and Kathryn P. Brown; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held on November 6, 2010, with The Rev. Allen Causey officiating.
