OBIT--Services for E.L. (Earnest Lloyd) "Donkey" Allison, 84, of Little River, TX will be at 2 p.m. today Nov. 4, 1982 at Sheffield Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Facter (Foster) and the Rev. Robert Worden officiating.
Burial will be in Wilson Valley Cemetery.
Mr. Allison died Tuesday Nov. 2, 1982, in a Temple hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident Sept. 22, 1982.
He was born in Olgsby, TX and moved to Little River as a young child. He was employed with Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Co., and retired after 46 years of service. He was a member of Dramatic Club of Little River, Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Union and Zerne # 614 AF & AM Masonic Lodge of Holland. He was active in Democratic Party affairs.
Survivors are his widow Alice Allison of Little River; two daughters, Marie Bennett of Little River and Marguerite Screws of Abilene; a sister, Eula McDaniel of Houston; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
