This Philip married Catherine SCHULTZ on 15 Mar 1809 in Sussex Co., NJ. She passed away in Warren Co., NJ, on 16 Nov 1834. Her burial spot has not yet been located. Their children were:

1. Mary Ann WOOLEVER was born December 12, 1809.

2. John S. WOOLEVER John was born March 27, 1812 at Warren Co, New Jersey. John died about 1874 probably at Licking Co., Ohio. The wife of John S. Woolever was Sarah "Sally" Ann Rush Woolever. They were the parents of 12 children, the eldest born in Warren Co., NJ, and the other 11 born in the hills of Hocking County, OH.

3. Christiana WOOLEVER was born August 22, 1814 at Mansfield Twp., Warren Co., NJ. and died May 1, 1882 in Laurel Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio. She married Burlean METTLER in New Jersey. She was buried May 3, 1882 at Prospect Cemetery, Washington, Hocking.

4. Margaret WOOLEVER was born March 21, 1816.

5. Benjamin WOOLEVER was born July 25, 1825 at Warren Co, New Jersey.

pg. 653 of Pick Co Hist: "Sarah [(Rush) Woolever] was born and reared in Warren Co., NJ, in which state her grandparents, who were natives of Germany had settled prior to the Revolutionary War. In 1837 John Woolever and wife came to Hocking County, Ohio, accompanied by Mr. Woolever's aged father, [Phillip Woolever, b. 9 Nov 1786, d. 21 Nov 1864, buried at Prospect Cemetery, Hocking Co., OH], [her husband's sister and young family, Burlean and Christiana (Woolever) Mettler,] and their [own infant] daughter, Catherine. John Woolever entered 120 acres of land and on this homestead our subject (Noah) was born, the fifth child in a family of 12. Nine of these reached maturity and eight still survive (in 1906), Noah being the eldest of these. Both parents died in Hocking County."
