THE DEATH OF J. J. PARVIS J. J. Parvis, a well known citizen of Clark’s Hill, died on Saturday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock at the home of his niece, Mrs. Frank Wilson, in Dayton. He was about 75 years old and his death was caused by the infirmities of age. His wife died about a year ago from the effects of injuries received by falling from a tree while picking cherries. Mr. Parvis was a veteran of the civil war and was a man of excellent character. Short services will be held at the Wilson home this morning at 9 o’clock by Rev. Charles P. Foreman. The remains will then be taken to Clark’s Hill where the final services will be held and the interment will be made.
