Local News

Mrs. John Popke [sic] passed away on Thursday of last week at her home east of town, aged 65 years. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the house, Rev. F. Wupper conducting the services. Interment took place in the cemetery near the Lutheran St. Paul's church. Besides her husband seven children survive her. Deceased was an old resident of that part of the county and was highly respected by all who knew her.
