Louisa P. Abren, aged 82 years, an native of Fayal, Portugal, died in Briones Valley, Contra Costa county, July 8, 1910. She was the wife of the late Frank P. Abren and mother of Mrs. Manuel E. Pereira, and Mrs. Antone E. Pereira of Briones Valley. Funeral at St. Catherine's Church, Martinez. Interment, Catholic Cemetery, Martinez.

LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION
On May 13th was filed in the County Clerk's office, the last will and testament of Francisco Pereira de Abreo. The will gives and bequeaths to Luisa Constancia de Abreo, his wife, all the real and personal property of whatever kind and nature and whatsoever situated during her life. Upon her death, the property is left to his two daughters, Maria Rosarie Pereira, wife of Maria Rosaria Pereira, wife of Manuel I. Pereira, and Lusia Pereira, wife of Antionio J. Pereira, to each undivided half. To the wife, during her life, is given full control and management, with the power to sell and convey the same or any part thereof without any order of court or consent of the daughters or of anyone and, in case of which sale, to use the proceeds as she may deem fit. The widow is also nominated and appointed executor of the estate without bonds. Attorney W. S. Tinning was the signature witness to the will and Judge W. S. Wells and A. V. Ipwitch were the witnesses.
The widow has filed a petition to the Court, in which she declines to act as executrix of the estate and desires that her grandson Frank Enos Pereira be appointed administrator of the estate.
