Sarah Coleman, a daughter of immigrant Thomas Coleman and his unknown first wife, was born in Wethersfield, Connecticut about 1642 and married Corporal Richard Treat in about 1660. They had 2 sons and 2 daughters, and resided in South Glastonbury.
Sarah died in Rocky Hill on August 23, 1734 and was buried in the Wethersfield Village Cemetery with her husband Richard Treat.
