CSA Congressman. Served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Represented Georgia in the Confederate Congress from 1864 to 1865. Also served as a State Court Judge from 1856 to 1858, as a member of the Georgia State House of Representatives in 1859, as the Georgia State Attorney General from 1880 to 1890.
