From Facebook: About the family photo: This amazing and rare photograph shows Mrs. Frances Blackman on the occasion of her 100th birthday in 1878, with six of her seven surviving children by her side. The photograph was taken at Mrs. Blackman's residence in Dorking, Surrey on the 7th of September, 1878. Mrs. Blackman died four months after this photograph was taken, on the 17th of February, 1879, aged 100 years. Her maiden name was Frances Postlewaite, and she married John Blackman on the 29th of November, 1797, and had been a widow since his death on the 16th of July, 1849.
