MRS. JOHN HILL

Mrs. John (Lizzie) Hill, 80, 107 Logan, Rock Springs, died Friday, Jan. 5, at 4:15 p.m. as the result of injuries sustained Dec. 29 in a pedestrian-automobile accident.

Mrs. Hill was critically injured when she was struck by the right front of a car, according to Louis Muir, Rock Springs police chief.

Mrs. Hill was born Dec. 7, 1887, at Alferton, Derbyshire, England, the daughter of Thomas and Eliza Rhodes Fletcher. She attended schools and was a teacher in England before coming to Rock Springs in 1921. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Aaron (Lydia) Deneley, Rock Springs; two nephews, Aaron W. Deneley and Herb Sharp, both of Rock Springs, and one niece, Mrs. Roger (Margaret) Hamilton, Belmont, Calif.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, the Rev. J. Den Foley officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Hamilton, Dwight Jones, Ambrose Hamilton, Fred Russold, Oliver Sains and Walter Short.
