Burgess C. Pickerill
Burgess C. Pickerill, retired farmer and life-long resident of Benton and Linn counties, died in a nursing home Sunday. He was born Sept. 15, 1866, at Western. His wife died in 1954.
Surviving are 3 sons, Harold A., Clearwater, Fla., Boyd C. of Los Angeles, and Earl C. of Cedar Rapids, and a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Hagan of Shellsburg.
Mrs. Pickerill was a member of Oak Grove Christian church and served as elder until moving to Cedar Rapids.
Services: Chapel of Memories 10:30 Wednesday by the Rev. Ernest S. Worden of Cedar Christian Church.
Burial: Cedar Memorial.
Friends may call at the Turner chapel from 1 to 9 Tuesday.
