GALESBURG - A. Irene Antoine, 99, formerly of 274 S. Academy St., died at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Rosewood Care Center of Galesburg.
Born May 22, 1903, in Kewanee to Lawrence Monroe and Mary Anstriss Eastman Walsh, she married Lyle Roche on Jan. 30, 1965, in Galesburg. He died July 30, 1979.
She later married Julius Antoine in Burlington, Iowa. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors are her caregivers, Terry and Anita Faulkner of Galesburg.
She worked for Spalding Jewelry in Chicago for 31/2 years and as an office clerk for the city of Galesburg for seven years.
She attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, for two years and Brown's Business College.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 235.
She attended Central Congregational Church in Galesburg.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Heather will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the services at HinchliffPearson-West Galesburg Chapel.
