Note from family member: Martha died at her aunt Grace Prueher's in Bloomer, 1954. Her father August wrote/published several small booklets of devotional (religious) poetry in German, and his name was spelled Romanowsky therein, with the "y." His burial location is unknown.
August Romanowsky, b. 1828, Vilnius, Lithuania, came to the U.S., fought in the Civil War (heavy artillery), and married Wilhelmina Krause, who died 25 Dec 1892.
