Obituary in The State, Columbia, SC, Nov 1972: Funeral services for Claude G. Amick, 75, of 2219 Bull St., who died Monday, will be today at 3 p.m. in Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James C. Barker. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Amick was a son of the late Sally Huffstetler and Robert Amick. Surviving are his widow, Lyida B. Amick; a daughter, Juanita A. Dennis; two sons, Marvin G. and Curtis C. Amick; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Price; Mrs. Mae Koon, Mrs. Lillian Mohr; three bothers, L. Monroe Amick, R. Heber Amick, R. Ray Amick of Columbia. Pallbearers will be Howard W. Mooneyham, Murray Price, Ray Mooneyham, Billy B. Price, Larry J. Nelson and Calvin Stanfield.
