Mrs. Elizabeth Baker, 91, widow of a Confederate veteran, died Sunday at her home, 1336 Caldwell, leaving four living generations of descendants, a family of fifty persons.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W. O. Goin, Harmon, Oklahoma and Mrs. Sidney Smith, Dallas; two sons, O. B. Baker, Dallas, and Arthur Baker, Jacksonville; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Baker was born in Canton, Georgia on August 24, 1846. She lived in Texas 55 years, 25 of which were spent in Dallas.
Funeral services wil be at 2 p. m. Monday at the Weiland Funeral Parlors, with the Rev. Herman Davis officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
