Rites for Mrs. Huffman
Mrs. Lula Huffman, 80, widow of Alvin Huffman, Sr. and a pioneer resident of Blytheville, died Wednesday in Chickasawba Hospital.
Born in Princeton, Ky., she moved to Blytheville in 1919. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was active in the Women's Missionary Society.
She leaves two sons, Alvin "Bo" Huffman, Jr., a former Blytheville resident now serving as executive vice president of the Radio and Television Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention in Fort Worth and Frank J. Huffman of Blytheville,
Two daughters, Mrs. Mike Cunningham of Caruthersville and Mrs. E.H. Brown of Memphis,
One brother and three sisters, all of Princeton;
Eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Cobb Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Alvis Carpenter officiating, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
