Alice was the fifth of seven children born to William Harris and Julia Attas (Moose) Howard. She married (1) Fiday Joseph Brown and they were the parents of ten children: Cleo Mozelle, Delmar L., Helen Mae, Opal, Thomas G., William H., James Harris and Joseph Ronald Sr. and Robert Wayne, and Fidey Joe Jr. She later married (2) (unknown) Johnson.

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Alice Howard Brown Johnson, 78, of Rt. 1, Jamestown, died Monday at the Evergreen Inc., Greensboro. Funeral plans are incomplete. The body is at Sechrest Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Albemarle and a Methodist.
Survivors are daughters, Mrs. L. M. Edwards of Rt. 1, Jamestown, Mrs. H. A. McAdams of Dallas, Tex.; sons, Thomas G. Brown of San Angelo, Tex., William H. Brown of Deltona, Fla., J. H.
