Perry T. Padilla, son of John and Dolly (Coleman) Padilla, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in both the European and Pacific theatres of operation. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosa (Caputo) Padilla. He was survived by son, Ronald Padilla of Boca Grande; daughter, Carmen Parker of Tampa, FL; sisters, Nell Kuhl and Theresa Matos, both of Boca Grande, and Nita Progris of Coral Gables, FL. Funeral services at the Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood chapel. Interment in Sarasota Memorial Park, Sarasota. (News-Press, 9//11/2003)
