Elaine Huskey, age 83, of Trumann, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her home. She was born December 1, 1928 at Strawberry to J.C. and Belle Cochran Foushee. Mrs. Huskey was retired from Housekeeping at ASU. She and her husband owned and operated Huskey's Grocery. Elaine also owned and operated a ceramic shop. She was of the Baptist belief.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Huskey.
She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Mitchusson of Harrisburg, Jane Furnish of Trumann, and Lori Bunch of Colquitt, GA; one son, Bob Huskey of Trumann; eight grandchildren, Tracy Cousins, Shelly Dinkelman, Brad Swails, Chad Furnish, John Huskey, Valerie and Adam Bunch, and Brandi Gruber; eight great grandchildren, Teresa, Keshia and Jeremiah Cousins, Cody Scalf, Elizabeth Swails, Lindsey, Landon and Lauren Furnish; and two great-great grandchildren, Gabe and Natalee Scalf.
Visitation will be 11 to 1 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the funeral service beginning at 1 pm. A 3:00 pm committal service will be held at Ward Cemetery in Strawberry.
