Moore, Lytha Carr Owenby - age 97, of Knoxville, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away May 12, 2002 at Holston Hills Health Care. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and Starlight Chapter # 463 O.E.S. She was the last surviving child of Marion and Rosan Carr of Hoot Owl Hollow, now part of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hobert Owenby and Virl Moore; parents; brothers and sisters. Survivors: sons and daughters in law. Gene and Pat Owenby, Ronald and Barbara Moore and Donald and Betty Moore. Also survived by 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Woodhaven Cemetery 2 p.m. Tuesday for graveside service, Rev.Elbert Kitts officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Mynatt's.
