Margaret Marie Lydon-Parsons, Janesville/formerly Wilton, WI (1915 - 2011)

November 2, 1915 - January 7, 2011
Margaret Marie Lydon–Parsons, 95, left this earth on Jan. 7, 2011, to go to eternal life with her heavenly father. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. She was born to Christian and Katherine (Flock) Baus on Nov. 2, 1915. In 1936, she married the love of her life, James Roland Lydon. She and Roland had a farm in Wilton, WI, and stockyards in the surrounding area. After Roland passed, she worked at the VA in Tomah, WI, from where she eventually retired. She re-married Dr. E.V. Parsons in 1974, until his passing in 1993. Upon his death, she moved to Janesville to be with her only daughter, Eileen Pasch, and her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, and was known as the cookie grandma. She loved to have company to offer them sweets. As a devout Catholic and member of St. Patrick's Church of Janesville, she looked forward to Sunday mass each week.
Margaret is survived by her only child, Eileen (Roger) Pasch of Janesville; three grandchildren: Michelle (Robert) Tracey, Kelly (Dennis) Kramer of Janesville, and Roger (Lisa) Pasch of Eau Claire; six great-grandchildren: Ross and Jillian Kramer (Craig Rensberry), Mary Cate (Sean Casey-Schmidt) and Margaret Tracey, and Olivia and Jackson Pasch. The light of her life was her great-great grandson, Kolton Patrick, also known as her little man. Margaret also had a very special life-long friend, Mid Witt.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father; her three sisters: Leona Baus, Loretta Schmitz, and Peg Brandau; two brothers: Norbert and Lambert Baus; and a very special niece, Diane Snyder.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, Wilton. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Kendall.
