Margaret Marie Lydon–Parsons, 95, left this earth on Jan. 7, 2011, to go to eternal life with her heavenly father. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. She was born to Christian and Katherine (Flock) Baus on Nov. 2, 1915. In 1936, she married the love of her life, James Roland Lydon. She enjoyed baking, and was known as the cookie grandma. She loved to have company to offer them sweets. As a devout Catholic and member of St. Patrick's Church of Janesville, she looked forward to Sunday mass each week.
