Ennis, Texas, July 19 -
B. F. Holsomback, 72, retired Baptist minister and lifelong resident of Texas, died Sunday at his home.
He was a native of Jacksonville, son of a pioneer family who moved to the State in 1844. He had held pastorates at Jacksonville, Brushy Creek, Anderson County, and Mabank, Kaufman County, and had done missionary work at various points throughout the State.
Funeral services will be held at Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas, Monday at 4 p. m., W. L. Oliphant, minister of the Oak Cliff Church of Christ, and Dr. Graham Frank, pastor of the Central Christian Church, officiating. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lee N. Holsomback of Dallas and Edwin J. Holsomback of Corsicana; three daughters, Mrs. May Deis and Mrs. Effie Acers of Dallas and Miss Geraldine Holsomback of Ennis, and four grandchldren.
