Austin Strong (step-grandson of Robert Louis Stevenson) attended Wellington College in New Zealand from 1895-1898. After this he studied landscape architecture in New York. He became a successful playwright. Some of his plays were: Three Wise Fools, Seventh Heaven, The Little Father o fthe Wilderness, A Play Without a Name, Drums of Oude, Bunny, The Dragon's Claw, A Good Little Devil, The Pied Piper & The Toy Maker of Nuremberg. From "The Ekahi Ohana Volume 2 Issue 9 September 2000 King Kalakaua And His Royal Goldfish" is a story about Austin Strong when he was a young boy. He was married to Mary Holbrook Wilson on Jun 06, 1906 in Providence, Providence Co., RI. She was daughter of Mary Augusta Lewis and Ellery Holbrook Wilson.
