CLARENCE D. BIGHAM, 91, of 485 Woodside Road, Gettysburg, died Sunday morning at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born in Hamiltonban Township, Adams County, he was a son of the late John H. and Annie (Eyler) Bigham. His wife, Minerva (Moritz) Bigham, died in May.
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. He had been employed at the Gettysburg Furniture Company for a number of years and he was also a farmer. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Veterans of World War I.
Surviving are one son, Walter C. Bigham of Gettysburg, three daughters, Miriam Thomas, Catherine E. Bigham, and Anna Mae Bigham, all of Gettysburg; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Bigham of Gettysburg; one sister, Alice Bollinger of Gettysburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with his pastor, the Rev. E. Edward Keyser, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
