Following Anna's death, he married Harriet Frazier Miller, the daughter of Daniel and Harriet Wilcox Frazier on 4 January 1937 in Wood County. He was a driller for the Toledo Shipbuilding Company. He was 5'10.5, of medium build with blue eyes and brown hair.
