Jim was a lifelong resident of El Dorado Co. He was a master carpenter. He served in WWII, stationed in Manila, where he received a Bronze Star, & New Guinea. He married Barbara Brewster in 1946 & blessed with 5 children. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 uncles, son James, sister Shirley Franchesci, ex-wife Barbara Tripp, & son-in-law David Shepardson. He is survived by 4 children: Janis Fink, Sue Shepardson, Lillian Holt & Spud Sackett; 12 grandchildren, 26 gr-grandchildren & 1 gr-grandchild.
