Mrs. G W (Susan) Stanley, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W G Fowler, Clinton Pike, today at 6:40 a.m. Mrs. Stanley, who was 81 years of age had been seriously ill but a few days, but had been in declining health for some time. She had been a member of the Bell's Campground M E Church for many years.
She is survived by one son, P G Stanley, Hattiesburg, Mississippi; daughters, Mrs. W G Fowler and Mrs. Emma O'Dell, both of Knoxville, Mrs. C A Lucas, Clinton, and Mrs. C O Fowler, Maryville; She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Bell's Campground Baptist Church, the Rev. Joe Dew, pastor of Clinton M E Church officiating.
