Kenneth Blais, 66, of 1920 13th Avenue S., a former insurance salesman, died Thursday at a local hospital of natural causes following a series of strokes over the previous 3 years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Chimes. Cremation will follow with burial of the ashes in Mount Olivet Cemetery in the veterans section. Memorials are suggested to the Eagles Auxiliary Home on the Range. Chapel of Chimes is in charge.
Born July 10, 1927, in Great Falls, he was raised and educated here. In 1972 he married Ruth Welsh in Great Falls.
Blais was in the Army Corps during World War II.
He worked for Metropolitan and Woodsman Insurance Companies. Was a member of the Moose and Eagles.
He was known as the Wheeler-Dealer.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the great outdoors that Montanan had to offer.
Surviving are his wife of Great Falls; three daughters Cheryl, Terry, and Sandy; a step-daughter Phyllis; three step-sons, Richard, Steve, and Timothy all of Great Falls; a sister Mary Ellen; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
