MRS. FULTZ DIES AT HOME HERE

Mrs. Armintia Maynor Fultz, 74, died at her home at 1424 Virginia Street, E. last night after a two-month illness.

A native of Cirtsville, Raleigh County, she was the widow of Dr. S. G. Backus, operator of the first hospital in South Charleston, who died in 1917, and Frank P. Fultz, who died four years ago.

She was a member of Christ Church, Methodist, the Women's Republican Club, the Grandparents Club, the Minute-Women of America, Silver Cross of the King's Daughters, and the East Side Woman's Club.

Mrs. Fultz, a descendant of an early South Charleston family, was one of the 12 charter members of the First Methodist Church of South Charleston.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Courtney Miller and Mrs. J. H. Wick, Jr., both of Charleston; two step-daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bemish of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Julia Paxton of Houston, Texas; two step-sons, Charles Fultz of Charleston and Richard Fultz of Tuscon, Arizona; one brother, John Maynor of South Charleston; and three grandchildren.

The body is in Barlow-Bonsall mortuary and will be taken to the residence this afternoon.
