Mrs Mary Elizabeth Clarke, beloved wife of Charles J Clarke passed away at the family home on Simpson Street on Sunday night at the age of nearly 86 years.
She was a member of one of the oldest pioneer families of the community.
Mary was born in New York and moved to Wisconsin with her parents while still a child where she spent her girlhood and early womanhood days.
She came to this vicinity with her first husband, Mr Simpson in 1878, and has been a resident of Kingsburg.
Besides her husband, she is survived by brother Henry Judd of Kingsburg and two sister, Mrs J F Woodridge (Nora Judd), Mrs James T. Woodward and Mrs A R Hamilton (Edith Judd) of Lemoore.
She was a faithful and active member of the First Methodist Church.
