Mrs. Caroline Rose Seward appears in the 1790 US Census of Granville, MA as "Wid. Caroline Seward", immediately beneath the widower of her daughter, Caroline, who died 6 Dec 1784 in Granville MA, the wife of William Truman Handy. She appears with two young daughters in that census--Eunice and Phoebe Seward, for whom she was given custody after John's death.
I have not found a death record for Caroline Rose Seward. She may have married a 2nd time after the death of her husband, John, in 1783. Or, she may have left Granville to be near her children elsewhere.
