Deceased Had Been Engaged In Farming Greater Part Of Life
Friedrich William Albrecht passed away at his farm home in this vicinity Monday morning, January 29. His death was due to a complication of diseases. He followed the occupation of farming during his lifetime.
The deceased was born on October 23, 1868, at Schmide Muehle, Province of Pommern, Germany, and was sixty-five years of age at the time of his death. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Albrecht. His early education was acquired in the common schools of Germany. At the age of twenty-five, he came to Waseca county from Germany. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran congregation.
On December 14, 1899, he was united in marriage with Miss Wilhelmina Stolz of St. Clair and the ceremony took place at that place. Surviving the deceased are his widow and two sons, William, Jr. and Albert, both at home. He is also survived by two sisters still living in Germany.
The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock from the Arnoldt Funeral Home in Janesville and at two o'clock from St. John's Lutheran church of Alma City with Rev. R. Polzin conducting the services. The pallbearers were Richard Lueck, Herman Doss, Herman Proechel, Robert Witt and Henry Kopischke. Interment took place in the Alma City cemetery.
