Donald D. Spragg, 76, of Kingman, Ind., died (feb. 17, 2004) at his home.
He was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Fountain County, Ind., the son of Clifford and Sylvia Hudson Spragg. He married Lucille McCloud Spragg May 14, 1950. She died April 16, 1963. He married Mary Lou Shotts Campbell Spragg April 9, 1964, in Kingman. She survives.
He is survived by; five sons, Mark (Jean) Spragg of Breman, Ala., Greg Spragg(Esteleen) of Kingman, Jerry (Brenda) Campbell of Veedersbirg, Ind., Darrin (Michelle) Spragg of Attica, Ind., and Dale Spragg of Breman; one daughter, Mrs. Darla (Scott) Harper of Sarasota, Fla., and his close cousin, Max Spragg of Crawfordsville, Ind., 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and one sister, Verna Garrett.
Donald attended Wallace High School through the 11th grade and then graduated from Crawfordsville, Ind. High School in 1945. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church and a former member of the church council.
He was currently a board member of the the Lutheran Cemetery Board and a member of the Jackson Township advisory board.
Funeral services were held at Shoemaker Funeral Home Inc. in Waynetown, Ind.; Officiating: Rev. John Stacy; Burial: Wallace Lutheran Cemetery in Wallace; Memorials: Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church.
