Age 90, passed away at 10:45 P.M. on Friday after a lingering illness.
He was born on October 7, 1883 in the Town of Rantoul, Calumet County.
He was a resident of the area most of his life having farmed in the Town of Grand Chute prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife, Marie Schultz Popp, two daughters, Mrs. Roy (LaVerna) Desten, Mrs. Ewald (Arleen) Semrow, both of Appleton, two sons, Jerome of route 4, Appleton, and Arthur of route 2, Shiocton, 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. F. M. Brandt officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 3 until 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 until 9:30 a.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. at the church until the hour of service.
