Mrs. Weaver was predeceased by her parents, her sister, brother-in-law and nephew (Vivian, Howard and Jimmy Pate), her brother (M.P. Sills), and her infant son, Rick Haney.
Memories of her wonderful life are shared by her husband, John C. Weaver of Texas City, her son and daughter-in law, Mike and Mona Haney of Lufkin, her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Don Walzel of Rio Frio, step-children Kathy and Billy Green of West Monroe, LA, Mary and Glenn Tindall of Flora, MS, Charles and Loretta Weaver of Farmerville, LA, and numerous grandchildren. Nieces and nephews will also enjoy the memories of their Aunt Dorothy.
Memorial services have been entrusted to Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson with the viewing on Monday, May 23, from 6:00-8:00pm and funeral services on Tuesday, May 24, at 1:00pm. Entombment will be at Forest Park East Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Eve, Bud Finnegan, Billy Green, Mike Haney, Jim Nolan, and Don Walzel.
Dorothy always said her greatest accomplishment in life were her two kids. So, we will always remember her lessons on life and will go on with the independence and determination, fun and love she taught us. We will miss you and love you forever.
