Miss Ruth L. Berry, 72,formerly of Byhalia, died Feb. 3 1972 at 5:40 p.m. in the Union County Home. She had been in failing health five years. Born Aug. 25, 1899 in Union County, she was a daughter of John D. and Clara Johnston Berry. She was a member of Byhalia United Methodist Church and a charter member of its Women's Society. Surviving arc two brothers, Martin of Santa Clara, Calif., and Elmer of Rt. 1, Richwood, a sister, Mrs. Jessie Crebs of Newark and a half-brother. Kenneth Berry of Bellefontaine. Services were held Feb. 6 in the Byhalia Church, Rev. Charles Cramer officiating. Burial was in Byhalia Cemetery.
