Mrs. Margerie E. Colvin, 53, died at 2:30 a.m. yesterday at the family home, 119 West Miller Street. Mrs. Colvin had been in failing health two years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Mt. Zion Church near Tuscumbia and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Colvin was born April 30, 1898, at Tuscumbia, the daughter of George and Ella Wyrick. She is survived by her husband, Peter Colvin, of the home; five children, George Colvin of the home, Arthur Colvin, Ft. Knox, Ky., Mrs. Lloyd Gamphor, Eldon, Mo., Mrs. Arvol Pearon, Waynesville, Mo., and Mrs. Frank Sweaney, 416 East Capitol Avenue; two sisters, Mrs. Chloe Phillips, Parker, Wash., and Mrs. Eura Martin, Tuscumbia; six brothers, Ora and Minzo Wyrick, Parker, Wash., Clyde, Glen and Norman Wyrick, Tuscumbia and Owen Wyrick, Kansas City, Kan., and five grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Christ of Jefferson City.
