Dorothy Maurine Fuger-Ausmus, died peacefully at her home on September 30, 2004 with her husband, Roger, and her family by her side. She was born May 10, 1926, in Idaho Falls to Trueman O. Nielsen and Gwendolyn Burckhart. She was raised in a loving home by her mother and stepfather, William H. Perry. She attended Riverside Elementary and O.E. Bell Jr. High. She loved Idaho Falls and made it her home. She met her sweetheart, Roger Allen Ausmus 27 years ago. Together they enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Grandma also loved bowling, bingo, sewing and crocheting. She was a great fan of the Idaho Falls Pioneer Baseball league and never missed a home game. Her passion was yard sales and finding treasures for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Spending time with family was most important to grandma. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she enjoyed homemaking meetings where she visited with her friends. She took great pride in being a cook at the ARA and enjoyed helping other people throughout her lifetime.
