Mrs. Lena May Daughtry, 81, of 418 Albert, died 11:45 a.m. Monday in a Toledo hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Decatur, Ind., Nov. 17, 1882, she lived in Lima 60 years. Her husband, Charles H., died in 1944.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Paul S. (Helen) King of 635 Ewing, Mrs. Omer (Bernice) Piehl of 431 W. Grand, Mrs. Perry (Lauretta) McPheron of 517 E. Vine, and Mrs. Harold (Jean) Kooken of 914 E. Elm; a son, C. J. (Pete) of 418 Albert; eight grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Daughtry was a member of South Side Church of Christ. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Cantwell Sweet Mortuary. Rev. E. J. Penhorwood will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
