CARL H. ENGSTRUM
Services for Carl H. Engstrum, 72, of 807 Massachusetts Ave., Rock Springs were conducted Friday, July 29, at the Vase Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Wade officiated.
Burial was in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery in the Mountain View section.
Jim Overy, Jack Davis, Richard Ainscough, Jack Brown, Jim Wilcox and Lyle SJostrom served as pallbearers.
Mr. Engstrum died Tuesday, July 26 at the Kimberly Manor Nursing Home following a four year illness.
He was born in Green River April 11, 1911, the son of the late Alex and Elizabeth Krichbaum Engstrum. He attended schools in Rock Springs and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Engstrum was a retired employee from the Rock Springs Street Department. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include one aunt, Mrs. Emma Sims, Rock Springs, and several nieces, nephews and cousins including Roger Sims, Green River, John Sims, Rock Springs and Emma Lou Webster, Farson.
Mr. Engstrum was preceded in death by his parents.
